A MORE WALKABLE PIKES PEAK DRIVE

As more businesses take root around Pikes Peak Drive, foot traffic will increase. The problem: it’s not very walkable. P3 and the Town are working to enhance the pedestrian experience while benefitting the area’s businesses.

The project cost is $3 million. Construction is set to begin in Summer 2023 and should wrap up near the end of next year.

What you can expect:

  • Widening sidewalks

  • Adding lighting

  • Improving crosswalks

  • Improving drainage

  • Undergrounding overhead power lines
