Applications open for P3’s Façade and Landscape Improvement Program

[PARKER, CO] – Business located within Parker’s Urban Renewal areas are invited to apply for funds for exterior improvements through P3’s Façade and Landscape Improvement Program (FLIP). The application opens on January 1 and closes January 31, 2023 and can be found at P3’s website: p3parker.com/flip. Local businesses can be reimbursed up to $6,250 per project with P3 contributing $1 for every $1 a business invests.

To qualify, the business and building must be located in one of Parker’s three urban renewal areas: Parker Road, Parker Central, or Cottonwood. Additionally, the property cannot be classified as “exempt” by the Douglas County Assessor, must have a valid Town of Parker Business/Sales Tax license, and there cannot be code enforcement violations on the property. Those interested can find a full list of qualifications on P3’s website.

FLIP was designed to encourage investment to help bolster the economic vitality in Parker. Facade and landscape improvements are one of the most effective ways to enhance the appearance of a commercial building, drawing in customers and further investment. Examples of eligible projects include improvements visible to the public-right-of-way including painting a building façade, siding and building exterior material replacements, awnings and canopies, architectural details, exterior lighting additions and upgrades, replacement signage, and much more. 

Previous FLIP recipient and Mainstreet property owner Andy Chanos commented on the program saying, “P3’s FLIP grant is the best deal for businesses I have ever come across.”
